Our First Meeting

Lawyer with Client

You can call my office for an appointment to come in and discuss your financial situation and debt problems. There is no charge for the first visit. I will review your financial situation and determine whether bankruptcy is an option for you. I will discuss the pros and cons of filing bankruptcy, the different types of bankruptcy, and the procedure involved in getting a bankruptcy.

My office is located at 315 North Second Street in Blytheville. I am across the street from the American Legion Building and next door to Greenway Real Estate.

It is helpful if you complete my free online bankruptcy questionnaire prior to our first meeting.  You can Log in here to access the bankruptcy questionnaire and complete it online.  (social security number and log in name required, contact my office for log in name).  The completed questionaire will then be accessible online for me to review and for us to review at our meeting.

The following information will be helpful for your to have on hand to complete the questionaire:

     1. Name, address, and amount owed to each creditor.  List all creditors, including the ones you want to file on and the ones you want to keep.

     2.  Your monthly living expenses. (examples: car payment, house payment or rent, utility company bills, insurance, groceries, gasoline, clothing, household supplies, child care and child expenses, medical bills, donations to church and charity, etc.)

     3.  Job related income (gross, net, and itemized deductions as stated on your payroll check stub) and income from any other source.   Please bring your check stubs and bills to our first meeting.

     4.  Yearly gross income for 2005 and 2006

     5.  List of your assets (personal property and real estate).  You do not need to itemize your furniture, appliances, and clothing on the questionaire.
